Product Overview
The PROFINET Agent “Agent Blond” is an intelligent, non-intrusive measurement point designed to support PROFINET commissioning, service and continuous network monitoring. Installed directly into the PROFINET network, it monitors communication as a silent listener and detects abnormalities such as telegram gaps that can indicate emerging communication problems.
By integrating with the PLC configuration and diagnostic buffer, the PROFINET Agent makes additional network information available through the familiar PLC diagnostic path. This helps engineers identify the location and potential cause of communication problems more quickly, reducing troubleshooting time during commissioning and maintenance. The Agent can also be combined with the PROFINET-INspektor® NT for deeper network analysis.
