Product Overview
The PB-Q ONE is a compact PROFIBUS measuring and diagnostic tool designed for commissioning, acceptance testing, maintenance, service and troubleshooting of PROFIBUS networks. It evaluates both the physical transmission quality and logical communication of PROFIBUS systems, providing clear measurement results that can be assessed quickly using its graphical traffic-light display.
The PB-Q ONE can perform fully automatic, non-reactive topology detection while the PROFIBUS network remains in operation. It can identify connected bus devices, repeaters, measuring points and cable lengths between network devices, providing a clear representation of the actual network structure.
The integrated telegram mode provides additional analysis capabilities, while the master simulator allows the communication quality of connected bus devices to be analysed independently of the PLC. With an optional PROFIBUS PA adapter, the PB-Q ONE can also be used for PROFIBUS PA networks.
