Product Overview
The MULTIrep X2 is a compact PROFIBUS repeater designed to improve network structure, signal quality and communication stability. It divides a PROFIBUS network into two galvanically isolated segments while regenerating the PROFIBUS signal, making it possible to create more robust network structures and reduce the impact of faults.
The integrated diagnostic function continuously monitors PROFIBUS data traffic and provides clear segment status information through the device’s LEDs. Logical and physical communication abnormalities can be identified and isolated to the affected segment, helping maintenance personnel troubleshoot network problems more efficiently.
The MULTIrep X2 can also be used to create a star-shaped PROFIBUS topology and provides a practical way to separate sensitive or interference-prone areas of a network. Its robust D-Sub connections provide convenient access for PROFIBUS measuring points without requiring additional installation.
