Product Overview
The ASi View is a mobile diagnostic and measurement device for analysing the physical and logical communication quality of AS-Interface (ASi) networks during normal operation. It provides a quick overview of network condition and allows technicians to identify communication problems, signal-quality issues and potential sources of interference.
The device can evaluate signal quality for individual ASi stations and display the results using an easy-to-understand bar graph and traffic-light-style assessment. For more detailed troubleshooting, the integrated oscilloscope function can be used to analyse signal shapes, reflections, EMC interference and eye diagrams.
ASi View also analyses telegram traffic, providing information about communication errors and the response behaviour of individual stations. It connects to the ASi network using the supplied measurement accessories and communicates with a PC via USB. The device is suitable for commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and service of ASi networks.
